Gridcoin is a cryptocurrency used to reward computation done on the BOINC platform. BOINC is a distributed computing platform where users can donate their spare CPU or GPU power to various citizen science projects.

Today a Gridcoin adapter is released for the Bitcoin and Altcoin Wallets WordPress plugin. This has been a user request.
