Thank you Alex for this last update.
Me too I am experiencing the same bugs regarding the markets. When changing the market, the tables are set in the selected coin market, what is wrong. Here some screenshots for the coin markets change. If you test it you’see that also User Orders and User History changes the coin. Bid and Ask looks correct.
It is possible to add icons in markets?
Thank you in advance,
You’re wellcome, just trying to make efficient the process of problem solving. High quality standard is a must, specially when money is involved, so details are important.
Everything is in order now (maybe just if you want to add it some day a third row in transactions to show net deposits) .
I hope someday there will be a graphical and filtered tables with totals to make more easy the admin work from backend.
Thank you Alex for your suppot, trully appreciated.
Alex, I made some tests, and I confirm you that fees are not taken into accout from frontend perspective. Please find attached some screenshots.
From backend in apparence is like the fee is taken into account (but it is not easy for admins to have a look at total fees and balances with filters).
In front end, for a deposit transaction of 1 LTLT, the fee of 0,005 is not taken into account. 1 LTCT is added directly to the balance, as the confirmer transaction shows.
From admin side, in CP dashboard the NET taken into account is 0.995 LCTT, so there is an inbalance, and the behaviour is not coherent.
Please give it a look.
Thank you for giving it a look. Yes, you’re right about this from backend perspective. But from frontend it does not correspond to that behaviour.
In frontend, the quantity added to his balance is 1.000 and not 0.995. Fee is not deducted from what should be added to his balance (look at front screenshots), in this case 0.005.
If you want I can test it again.
Thank you in advance,
This is good! Just tested some payments with and without fees application and now it seems working correctly.
It would be really good if the fees were accounted as an addition to order amount (it is deducted actually). In terms of accounting it is more clean (and it avoids to add a price to a product because of a fee) for the admin and transparent for clients. No problem if it is not indicated in a first time in checkout page as a separate indicatiom, but at least in accounting, in transactions list from admin side and client side.
In any case, thank you very much for your support, trully appreciated.
My best regards
Hello again Alex,
I know that you’re busy, I was just wondering if you had time to check about the fees accounting.
I hope you are doing good. I know that you’re busy, and I was wondering if you had time to check about the fees issue with wocmrce extension.
I am still on fees thing, and I think there is an issue with the new additional option of aplying fees for orders.
I performed some test orders both checking the box of aplying fees and without. It resulted that move fees (transfers) are always aplyed, and deducted (should be added to the order amount) from the amount to pay for the order, then a lose of money (fee) from admin side. Could you check this?
It is possible, if fees application box checked in settings by admin, to show to the user in checkout page separetly near the dropdown con selector the added fee that he has to pay?
Also, if fees application box checked in settings by admin, it should be considered the total order amount plus the added fees as the amount to consider if user has sufficient balance in each coin to pay (according to the last extension update).
Thank you Alex,
I made some more tests, and I confirm you that for 1 LTCT deposit, the user get 1 LTCT in his account (as shown from his front). The fee is not accounted in user balances.
In user front transactions, maybe a better disclosure with details should be more clear for users, such as CP format:
Net: 0.995 LTCT
Minus fee (or with minus symbol): 0.005 LTCT
Perfect if the fee is taken from IPN message. So you’re right about no need of setting variable deposit fee.
About what I get when testing with 1 LTCT, here are some screenshots. In user balance is accounted 1 LTCT, as you can see.
According to this information, it is not clear for the user about how much he deposited and taken into account in his balance, in this case he sees 1 LTCT and 0.005 LTCT, but not clear if he got 1 LTCT or 0.995 LTCT.
Thank you for the update.
After some testing it seems that there is still an issue regarding deposit fees. I hope I will be clear explaining myself.
1. I sent 1 LTCT to an user LTCT adress
2. Received as superaccount admin and a confirmation from CP.NET of a deposit of 1 LTCT.
3. I checked on CP dashboard in IPN history transaction and deposit record and I found that a fee of 0.5% is discounted. Info found in deposit record:
Minus Fee: 0.00500000 LTCT
Net: 0.99500000 LTCT
4. Received an email from CP adapter extension confirming the deposit of 1 LTCT, founding in Transactions that 1 LTCT is accounted in user balance, without taking into account the fee taken from CP.
So using the 1.0.7 it could be a bit confusing because the fee of 0.5% is assumed by the site admin. This is why I suggested to add a Deposit fee field in the adapter settings. Another option is just to give free deposit option, but with a porportional withdrawal fee equal at least to 0.5%.
Using the 1.0.6 version does the job in terms of taking into account the fee taken from CP. But, if CP changes their deposit fee politics, the Adapter takes into account automatically the new fee or it is something fixed at 0.5% in the code?
The simplest way is in my opinion is implementing a Deposit fee field in the adapter settings. What do you think about Alex?
You’re wellcome Alex, thanks to you also!
I can’t see the 1.0.7 release for download, not ready yet?
Thank you Alex. I think the change indicator in %, with sign and color indicator (red, green) would be good for users to know haw their deposits flucutate against fiat, specially for those roles using the exchnge.
About the fees, yes it sounds like you toke the first category of Commercial Deposits, where the fee is 0.5%. In my case, maybe I should change my category from Personal Deposits to Commercial Deposits, I have to read their Terms. But anyway, maybe adding a fee to set up the deposit fee manually it should be better, in case for example they change their fees or simply someone wants to apply a higher fee.
Best regards, and thank you again
This is great.
Thank you Alex for this update. I just installed it and it solved my issue regarding order settings for multivndrs. As I commented you before, for now all disbursls must be in fiat, what is in my opinion appropriate in the current context in terms of adoption and legal terms in some countries, so it’s OK.
I tested many transctions and it is OK. Just when there si no crypto balance sufficient for payments there is no message indicating to the user that he has no sufficient balance in any crypto when he selects the crypto method paymet. I forced checkout leaving unchecked the box of agreements, and the message I got is: “The exchange rate for the selected cryptocurrency is not currently available. Please try again later or choose to pay with another currency or payment method.”
About the position of dropdown selector, maybe I did not explained myself correctly. What I meant is placing the dropdown selector where the payement selector. Right in the place where it appears the message “Pay from the selected cryptcurrey wallt. Set the “Crptourrec” field at “Billing Details” above.”, juste like when paying with credit card, a form appears. I thought thay is woocmrce settings and not the theme.
Thank you Alex again, trully appreciated,
P.S Sorry about that, it’s noted for the next time
I found that the problem was with IPN, as indicated in the IPN debugging message. I renewed API keys and IPN secret and now it works correctly again.
From this experience I found that the fee aplyed for deposits are twice (in fee settings I dont see deposits settings info), from copaments and the extension. From the third party service this are the fees applyed:
– Commercial Deposits (Callback Addresses created with our API) 0.50%
– Personal Deposits (Addresses made on the Your Wallets page or Deposit Addresses retreived with our API) First 30,000 USD equivalent monthly: FREE After that: 0.50%
in which case it is supposed it’s applyed when usin IPN? I understand that is the second case because that they dont get deposit fee because I’m still under the 30k$ equivalent, and that’s why I see only the fee from the extension. Their rule of free deposits is not taken into account.
Alex is there a way to implement in balances an additional option to show to users how their deposits value changed in fiat equivalent taking into account the transactions? The total value change in % should take into account a ponderation coeff for the deposits (or other transaction) at instants(i) t(i) with the rate(i)…
Just another question about cleaing all data. In some moment I will need to clean all test data generated from testing. How can I perform this correctly?
Thank you in Advance
